A special mook publication was announced featuring widely popular 80’s heroine characters. Titled “Rabukome Hiroin Daikaibou 80’s Shounen Manga-hen” (A 80’s Shonen Manga Love Comedy Heroine Collection), the mook will showcase female protagonists such as Lam from “Urusei Yatsura”, Otonashi Kyoko from “Maison Ikkoku”, Asakura Minami from “Touch” and Ozora Hibari from “Stop!! Hibari-kun!”. The item was released on Oct. 30, 2020, and it’s now available throughout convenience stores and bookstores in Japan.
“Rabukome Hiroin Daikaibou 80’s Shounen Manga-hen” is a mook featuring the dreamy and beloved heroines adored by many of the youngsters who grew up during the 80’s. It will contain in-depth character analysis columns alongside illustrations, catchphrases and memorable scenes of the female protagonists Lam from “Urusei Yatsura”, Otonashi Kyoko from “Maison Ikkoku”, Asakura Minami from “Touch”, Ozora Hibari from “Stop!! Hibari-kun!”, and Ayukawa Madoka from “Kimagure Orange Road”.
Included also are interviews with the manga authors Shiina Takashi, Fujita Kazuhiro, Hattori Kazumi, Shiomori Keiko and Akamatsu Ken, making it a must-read for fans.
The 124-page fully colored publication will also feature some barely appropriate mangas under the ecchi love comedy genre including the following titles: Mune Kyun Deka”, “Heart Catch Izumi-chan”, “Oh! Toumei Ningen”, “Ikenai Luna Sensei!”, “Yarukkya Naito!” and “Mina Agechau(Heart)”.
