“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train” has recorded a total audience of 3,420,493 and a revenue of 4,623,117,450 JPY on the three days since its release. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is based on a Japanese dark fantasy that was written by Gotouge Koyoharu, and serialized in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’ from 2016 to 2020.
The TV anime series adaptation, which was on air from Apr. 2019,

The story of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” takes place in the Taisho-era. It follows the protagonist Kamado Tanjirou, whose entire family was massacred by demons except his younger sister Nezuko, who survived as a demon, decides to fight against demons to find a cure for her and turn her back into a human.

“Kamado Tanjirou Rissi-Hen” was on air on TV in 2019. It follows Tanjirou as he develops as a Demon Slayer. He decides to join the Demon Slayer Corps with Nezuko, and determines to destroy Kibutsuji Muzan, the main protagonist, through an encounter with friends and and Hashira (lit. Pillars), the most powerful swordsmen.
