The picture book “Studio Ghibli’s Various Lives” that introduces the “lives” of the main characters of Studio Ghibli’s works, such as “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind” and “Spirited Away” from various angles and perspectives, has been released. It will be on sale nationwide from Oct. 9, 2020.

This is a picture book that introduces the lives of the main protagonists of Studio Ghibli’s works from various perspectives, such as the lives of people from the Valley of the Wind, who are trying to protect themselves from the poison and bugs of the rotten sea, the house where Satsuki and Mei moved, the home of Totoro, and the life of Seita and Setsuko during the war, life of Spirited Away, which is about the 13-year-old witch Kiki, and the life of Chihiro, who works at the bathhouse of the gods.

Each detail of the characters’ lives, including their houses and work is shown in many scene photos.
It’s a book that makes you want to re-watch the movie again after reading it.

The price of “Studio Ghibli’s Various Lives” is 1,800 JPY (excluding tax). It will be released nationwide on Oct. 9, 2020.
