“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train the Movie” Experience the exploits of Tanjiro and his friends with your own eyes and ears! IMAX screening has been decided..

It has been decided that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train the Movie” will be screened on IMAX on Oct. 16th. The film will be screened at all 38 theaters where IMAX is currently being used in Japan from the first day of its release.

The original work is a comic by Gotouge Koyoharu, which was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The series has sold more than 100 million copies in total.
When it was made into a TV anime last year, the sad story of a man and a demon, dynamic battle scenes, and the occasional comical appearance of the characters became the talk of the town.

In the final episode of the TV anime aired at the end of Sep. 2019, it closed with the scene where the main character, Kamado Tanjiro and his friends board the “Infinity Train”. In the film version, the new mission of Tanjiro and his friends on the “Infinity Train” is portrayed.

It has been decided that the screening of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train”, which will be released on Oct. 16, will be held at IMAX theaters. This will be the first IMAX screening of a new Japanese film in 2020.
The crisp images and high-precision sound projected on the IMAX screen will make you feel as if you’ve stepped aboard the train in the film, so you’ll be able to experience the adventures of Tanjiro and his team in IMAX quality.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train” opens at all 38 IMAX theatres and other locations nationwide on Oct. 16, 2020.
