“BEASTARS” Kaji Yuuki will play a womanizer! “I played him, keeping myself aggressive.”
The new cast and character settings of the “BEASTARS” 2nd season, which will be broadcast in Jan. 2021, have been announced. Kaji Yuuki will play Pina, a new student chosen as an actor in a drama club.
“BEASTARS” features the animals’ childhood stories, and has won multiple awards including “Manga Taisho 2018” and four major manga awards. The 1st season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2019, and the 2nd season will depict the continuation of it.
Kaji Yuuki has been chosen to play Pina, a mysterious new student. Pina is in the first year of high school. He is a gorgeous, good-looking womanizer. Kaji said “I played him, keeping myself aggressive as he has brought a breath of fresh air to the story.”
The anime “BEASTARS” will be broadcast on Fuji TV “+Ultra” and other channels from Jan. 2021.

I have been a fan of “BEASTERS” since before its anime adaptation was announced. I was personally moved to tears after reading it for the first time in a while. I am so glad to be chosen to play Pina in such an anime. Probably, Pina is a man to fascinate everyone. (laugh) However, no one hates him. I played him, keeping myself aggressive as he has brought a breath of fresh air to the story. Please look forward to it!
