“Fruits Basket” The Final Will Be Broadcast in 2021! Thank You Illustrations by the Author Takaya Natsuki Were Also Released

The anticipated last chapter of “Fruits Basket”, “Fruits Basket” The Final, has been decided to be broadcast in 2021. Also, the illustrations by the author Takaya Natsuki, which were posted on Twitter after each episode of the 2nd season, were all released on the program’s official website.

“Fruits Basket” is originally a girls’ manga serialized on “Hana to Yume” by Takaya Natsuki from 1998 to 2006. The comics have a circulation of over 30 million copies, and is still loved by fans after 15 years since its serialization. The 1st season was broadcast from Apr. 2019 and the 2nd season was from Apr. 2020.

In the final episode of the 2nd season, episode 25, Soma Kureno’s curse was broken, and we found out that the key character of the story, Soma Akito, was a female. Why does she cling to the bonds of the zodiacs? Why does she try to pin them down with fear? The final season finally reveals the past and feelings of Akito.

Also, at the program’s official website, the illustrations by the author Takaya Natsuki, which were posted on Twitter after each episode of the 2nd season, will be released for a limited time.
