“Pokémon” will move to the prime time on Fridays and Pikachu has become “Golden Producer”
It has turned out that the broadcast slot of the TV anime “Pokémon” will move. It will be broadcast every Friday from 6:55 p.m. starting from Oct. 9.
The anime “Pokémon” started broadcasting in 1997. It has been broadcast since 2018 on Sundays from 6:00 p.m.
This time, tit has been decided to move the broadcast slot. From Oct. 9, it will be broadcast from 6:55 p.m. to 7:25 p.m. on Fridays.
In the television industry , there is a custom to call the time slot from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. prime time, and the time slot from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. “golden time” in Japanese. It was also the main topic that there were no anime broadcasts during the “golden time” in 2019.
To commemorate this move to the golden time on Fridays, Pikachu has been appointed Executive Golden Producer.
Dressed in a gilding costume, Pikachu appeared in a TV commercial. Becoming a producer, he will continue to liven up the program with various projects.
Furthermore, it has been decided to hold the first virtual live event for 4 consecutive weeks by the anime “Pokémon”. It will be a viewer-participative talk show that welcomes guests who are involved in “Pokémon” and publishes information that can only be heard here.
