Additional Cast Members Including Ootsuka Akio and Uchida Maaya Announced! "Akudama Drive" Starts on Oct. 8
The broadcast date of TV anime “Akudama Drive” has been announced. Along with it, the key visual, 2nd promotional video, additional cast members, and theme song information were revealed. The anime will be broadcast on BS Nippon TV, TOKYO MX, and other channels from Oct. 8.
“Akudama Drive” is an original animation that depicts the villains following their own way of life.
Scriptwriter Odaka Kazutaka and character designer Komatsuzaki Rui, who worked together on the “Danganronpa” game series, will team up once again for this anime directed by Taguchi Tomohisa, with the animation production by studio pierrot.
Ootsuka Akio, Hanamori Yumiri, Sakakibara Ryouko, and Uchida Maaya were announced as additional cast members. Their roles are Ootsuka as the Execution Department Master, Hanamori as the Execution Department Apprentice, Sakakibara as the Boss, and Uchida as the Black Cat.
The main theme songs were also announced. The opening theme is “STEAL!!” by SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!! (SuSaShi), and the ending theme is “Ready” by UraShimaSakataSen.
TV anime “Akuma Drive” will be broadcast on BS Nippon TV, TOKYO MX, and other channels from Oct. 8.
