The world's first “Evangelion” attraction “Evangelion Kyoto Base” will have its grand opening on Oct. 3, 2020, at Toei Kyoto Studio Park. Ahead of that, the grand opening's information has been announced.
“Evangelion and Japanese Swords Exhibition” will be held along with the grand opening of “Evangelion Kyoto Base” at Toei Kyoto Studio.
The exhibition will consist of 23 types of swords that were created by swordsmiths and each sword is inspired by the “Evangelion Movie”. Examples of the swords are the “Longinus Spear”, and “Shikinami Asuka Langley specification long sword”, and the original swords that you can only see here.
Moreover, “Evangelion Kyoto Base Stamp Rally” will also be held.
The stamps are located at five locations, which are Raden's “Shijou Oomiya Station” and “Arashiyama Station”, Kyoto Arashiyama Orgel Museum, and two at Toei Kyoto Studio. After stamping all the stamps at the dedicated rally sheet, you will be presented with an original tin badge (1 type). Do take note that the entrance fee is required for Kyoto Arashiyama Orgel Museum and Toei Kyoto Studio.
