“Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 6th LoveLive! DOME TOUR 2020” by Aqours, the school idol group from “Love Live! Sunshine!!”, has been cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19. Instead, the videos of the past live performances will be streamed for free, and another event will be live streamed for a fee with no audience.
“Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours6th LoveLive! DOME TOUR 2020” in Nagoya and Saitama were initially planned to be live streamed with no audience. However, as a live-streaming at a dome requires a lot of cast, staff and other people concerned, it has been cancelled after consideration for safety first.
The performances in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka, which were planned to be held with an audience, have also been cancelled completely, including the performance with no audience, as the safety of fans, cast, staff and other people concerned was considered as top priority.
The dome tour will continue to be discussed for next year or later.
Furthermore, as alternative projects, “Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 5th LoveLive! ~Next SPARKLING!!~” will be live streamed for free on Sep. 5 and 6, 2020, when the live performance in Nagoya was scheduled. It will be the 5th event of “Back In LoveLive!”, which looks back the past live performances of “Love Live! Sunshine!!”. The goods for Nagoya will also be on sale online.
Apart from “Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 6th LoveLive! DOME TOUR 2020” , it has been announced that “Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours ONLINE LoveLive! ~LOST WORLD~” will be live streamed at another venue for a fee with no audience on Oct. 10 and 11.
