Hanazawa Kana (as Ecchan)
I’m so glad that the film is finally being released. I hope girls with lives full of surprises who never give up will warm your hearts in these unpredictable days. Please enjoy!
Komatsu Mikako (as Aya-san)
Each episode gives you a different impression of the title “Happy-Go-Lucky Days”. They all seem to be everyday events, but they’re a fine part of each person’s life. I love the warm, delicate mood that almost melts in your mouth. I did my best to express that mood in the story of “Ecchan and Aya-san”. The frustrating relationship is somehow endearing. They have their “past” in common, their “present” begins when they meet, and I wish for their “future” to be peaceful and happy. Please enjoy this distinct vibe of this film at the theaters.
Sakurai Takahiro (as Sawa-sensei)
This quaint piece of work has a distinct vibe, and it gives me a sense of the unordinary in an ordinary day. It’s like looking through a pale veil into human nature with your eyes squinted. I hope to share this experience with you. Please enjoy.
Yamashita Seiichirou (as Yagasaki-kun)
I’m glad that the release date has been decided. A lot of things happened to this day. As the film says, I believe the “Happy-Go-Lucky” spirit pulled us through, and the time we had to wait makes me even more excited to watch the film.
I think this film will give each person different impressions, so I hope you will cherish your own perspective.
Thank you for your support.
Kido Ibuki (as Shin-chan)
Thank you for your patients! The release date has been decided! I think a movie is not complete until people watch it, so I can’t wait for you to visit the theaters. Whether you’re a fan of the original work or not, it’s easy to dive into the world of this film.
The entire cast and staff put their love into this film. Please accept our love!
Ishihara Kaori (as Mika-chan)
The film “Happy-Go-Lucky Days” will finally be released. I’ve been looking forward to this day for so long. It depicts love in various forms. While working on episodes 3 and 4, and watching episodes 1 and 2, I realized again how deep and wonderful love is. It’s a very heart-warming film. Please enjoy it at the theaters.
Fairouz Ai (as Sayoko)
The release date of “Happy-Go-Lucky Days” has finally been decided! It’s quite a unique and fascinating work so I’m already excited to see how everyone will feel about it. The acting, drawings, and music are full of love. I hope you can feel the beautiful, yet painful emotion of the characters!
Hayami Saori (as Yuri)
I enjoyed the slow, gentle mood that reminds me a bit of the sadness in my heart during the recordings. I’ll never forget the director telling me to be myself and take it easy. It’s an omnibus, so please enjoy each story and the characters living in them.
Shimazaki Nobunaga (as Tanabe-kun)
The characters give me a sense of reality, making me think that there’s someone out there in the real world who lives like this. But at the same time, I fell like I’m peaking into the unordinary. The film has a unique fascination. Each person that watches it will probably have completely different impressions about it, and I’m interested in what everyone will feel. I’d appreciate it if you could tell me your opinion.
Tamura Mutsumi (as Yoriko-san)
The first story I got to read the manga was the story about Yoriko-san and Tanabe-kun, and it was quite shocking. Though this story is not in the film, I enjoyed the selected stories, which were all shocking, yet have the sense of an ordinary event that could happen any day. I wonder if this would be what I’d see if I could look into everyone’s hearts. People have various sides that are hard to talk about, and the stories have a sense of relief and excitement. I hope you will enjoy these stories along with the heart-warming pictures at the theaters.
Amasaki Kouhei (as Shin-chan’s father)
Working on this film, I felt that drama happens in our ordinary lives. And it’s because we all have had a similar experience that the ordinary stories leave a strong impression on us. I think “Happy-Go-Lucky Days” delicately showss the “ordinary”.
I’m sure the film will have a stunning moment for every one of you. Please enjoy it at the cinema!
Shiraishi Ryouko (as Shin-chan’s mother)
I started to get used to life in Tokyo in my early 20s. At a book store, I bought this manga with a cover and title that drew my attention, and it was a work by Shimura Takako-sensei.
It was by accident that I got hooked on Shimura Takako-sensei’s works, and I just kept reading more and more. I never thought the day would come that I would be voicing a character from her work. You never know what will happen in your life. It was a very wonderful experience. I did my best to keep the exciting vibe that is like a piece cut out of each of our lives. I’m looking forward to seeing “Happy-Go-Lucky Days” with motion, color, and sound! I’m glad that the release date has been decided. I can’t wait for you to watch it.
