It has been decided that the mook called “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru Ikusabe Wataru & Toraou x Pia” featuring “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru” as the theme, will be released on Aug. 31, 2020. It focuses on the friendship between Ikusabe Wataru and Toraou, and also contains the special interview with Tanaka Mayumi (voice of Wataru), and Ikura Kazue (voice of Toraou).

“Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru” had been broadcasted on TV from 1988 till 1989. It depicts the story of the protagonist, Ikusabe Wataru, the Majin Ryuujinmar, and his companions in fighting the evil king, Doakuder. At that time, it was a work that was well-received among the children.
After that, in Oct. 2019, it was annoounced that series will be revived, and various projects, including the new anime “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru: Shichikon no Ryuujinmaru”, new figure, light novel streaming, visual story serialization, and others, that fans will surely look forward to.

Magazine “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru Ikusabe Wataru & Toraou x Pia”, reveals a detailed analysis on the “war and friendship chronicle” of the eternal “friend”, which are Ikusabe Wataru, and Toraou, along with the special interview with Tanaka Mayumi (voice of Wataru), and Ikura Kazue (voice of Toraou).
Moreover, there also will be an interview with the director of “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru: Shichikon no Ryuujinmaru”, Koujina Hiroshi, the profiles of Wataru & Toraou, etc. Thus, making it a collector edition with all the information of “Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru”.

“Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru Ikusabe Wataru & Toraou x Pia” is priced at 1,500 JPY (tax excluded). Pre-orders are currently open, and an A4 clear file with the original illustration of “Wataru & Toraou” will be given if the purchase will be made at Animate.
