Currently broadcasting the anime “The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited”, Fuji TV’s programming Block “Noitamina” celebrated its 15 year anniversary on Apr. 15, 2020.
In ce, were announced new original mascot characters Mina and Noitan, designed by Umino Chica, known for “Honey and Clover” and “Eden of the East” In addition, an event celebrating the anniversary will be held at Noitamina’s official store and Odaiba’s Aqua City.

Noitamina is a midnight anime programming block broadcast by Fuji TV, that started on Apr. 2005 based on the concept “Anime as a drama series”, looking to change stigmas related to anime and expanding its base audience, by challenging animation standards.
The number of titles broadcasted since then until Jan. 2020 amounts to 70 in total.
The mascot character Mina and Noitan were designed by Umino Chica, creator of the first anime to be broadcast in Noitamina, “Honey and Clover” (broadcast from Apr. to Sep. 2005 ). Umino was also involved in “Eden of the East”(broadcast from Apr. to Jun. 2009 ) as a character designer.
Goods and products that feature full imagery of the 70 anime titles broadcasted in the past are being planned.

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the block, an event titled “A retrospective throughout 15 years of Noitamina” will take place at Noitamina’s official store located in Odaiba’s Aqua City.
The event will be held in two different periods, with the first one from Aug. 7 to Sep. 30, 2020, and the second from Dec. 5, 2020 to Jan. 31, 2021. Each will feature a different selection of animes, from which will spawn a series of new products, a special themed cafe menu, as well as a screening of the first episodes.

Another tour event is planned for this summer and autumn on Loft stores in Umeda, Yokohama, Tenjin, Sendai and Shibuya.
The event will not only include sale of products, but also poster of spots shown in the anime series, and exhibition
