Inspired by “One Piece”, Gunma Prefecture's traditional crafts “Creative Kokeshi” collaboration 2nd line series has been released. This time, dolls of Nami, Usopp, and Sanji were revealed.
This product, “One Piece Kokeshi by Usaburo Kokeshi”, is an item carefully crafted by the craftsmen of “Usaburo Kokeshi”, which was founded in 1950 and has a workshop in Haruto-mura at the eastern foot of Mount Haruna in Gunma Prefecture.
In the 2nd line of the series, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji become palm-sized “Kokeshi dolls” that give you a feel for the warmth of wood.
While taking advantage of the warm wood grain of natural wood, each character's characteristic facial parts and costumes are carefully painted by hand. The world of “One Piece” has been created in the style unique to Usaburo Kokeshi.
The 2nd line of series “One Piece Kokeshi by Usaburo Kokeshi” is priced at 4,200 JPY (excluding tax). Pre-orders have been accepted at the “Hikidashi Store” from Jul. 13, 2020, and delivery will be done sequentially from the beginning of Aug. 2020.
