“Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer” will be screened in 4DX in 33 theaters throughout Japan. Also, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack”, which is currently in theaters, will be re-screened/extended.
4DX is an attraction theater that converts “watching a movie” into “experiencing a movie”. The motion seats move back and forth, up and down, following the screen, and the whole theater recreates the scene through 20 special effects, such as rain, the blowing of water and wind, and “flashes”, making the audience feel as if they have become the characters from the movie.
“Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer” will be screened at 33 theaters throughout Japan, including Grand Cinema Sunshine, from Jul. 3 to Jul. 9, 2020.
The 4DX screening of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack” will be extended at 4 Ion Cinema affiliated theaters until Jul. 2. Also, it will be re-screened at 23 theaters through out Japan from Jul. 10 to Jul. 16, and at 8 Cinema Sunshine affiliated theaters from Jul. 31 to Aug. 6.
