It was announced that the release date for the movie “Sailor Moon Eternal” Part 1 will be postponed from the initial release date of Sep. 11, 2020. The new release date for Part 1 is Jan. 8, 2021, Feb. 11, 2021 for Part 2.
The postpone on the release of the movie “Sailor Moon Eternal” was made after several meetings while considering the local situation caused by the spread of the COVID-19.
Toei commented, “We would like to apologize deeply to everyone who is looking forward to the movie. All the staff will do their best toward the release date in creating more interesting work. So, we hope to seek your patience during this time.”
Along with that, the latest release date was announced as well.
The movie “Sailor Moon Eternal” Part 1 will be released on Jan. 8, 2021 while Part 2 will be released on Feb. 11, 2021, on Japan nationwide theatre.
