"Monster League" will be released in Japan in the spring of 2021. Is a fallen monster girl aiming to become a "big star"?!

The movie “Monsters League” created by Paramount Animation will be released in Japan in the spring of 2021. Along with this announcement, a special news video has been released.

The plot of this work is depicting a unique world where monsters and humans coexist in harmony. The monsters league, a martial arts competition where monsters compete to find the strongest, being held, and people were enthusiastically cheering like local baseball and soccer teams.

The protagonists of this “Monsters League” are Winnie, a 16-year-old girl from a small town “Stalker”, and Steve, a lovably and laid back monster. It is a story about friendship and the rebirth of a vivacious girl and a lazy monster.

In the special message released along with this announcement, a comical image of the cool appearance of the big star tentacle, which is called the legend of “Monsters League”, and the special training of Winnie and Steve was shown.

For director, Mark Bakshi, who is famous for his Hamish grip work in the “Shrek” series, and producing “Moneyball” “World War Z”, etc., it was his first animated movie since “Rango”.

“Monsters League” will be released in Japan in the spring of 2021. Detailed information will be announced later.
