Let's overcome the coronavirus crisis together with Gru and Minions from "Minions"! A special video of WHO & United Nations Foundation collaboration has been released

While “Minions: The Rise of Gru” release day is coming, the worldwide collaboration between “Despicable Me”, “Minions”, WHO and UN Foundation has been realized.
In the special video, Gru and Minions have introduced “Hints to overcome the Corona Crisis” and the voice actor of Gru, Shofukutei Tsurube had participated as a volunteer.

The special movie released this time is based on the on the scenes of the past series of “Despicable Me” and “Minions”, and it carries the message “BE KIND TO EACH OTHER”.

Gru introduces hints to overcome this difficult time, such as what you can do at home while maintaining the social distance and gently presents “BE KIND TO EACH OTHER” to overcome the corona crisis along in a heart-warming scene.

In this video, the familiar cast/ actors who are known for voicing Gru, Shofukutei Tsurube in the Japanese version, and Steve Karel in the original version.
In the end, Gru's compassionate message, “Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Remember we're all in this together” will surely made everyone feel energized.

Illumination Entertainment is the first studio in Hollywood who becomes a partner with WHO and the UN Foundation, to send public advertisements (PSA) of COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
The latest movie, “Minions: The Rise of Gru”, will be released to the US on Jul. 2, 2021, and it will be a special video that has an increasing anticipation for its Japan release after the corona has converged.
