The special gifts for the movie “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes: Rising” Blu-ray and DVD (will be on sale on Jul. 15, 2020) have been announced. The 12 postcards inspired by the original illustrations by the original author Horikoshi Kouhei will come along with the disks, and the unique to each store designs for the special gifts have been revealed.

The original work of “My Hero Academia” is a hero manga by Horikoshi Kouhei, which is currently serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha), and recorded the sale of 26 million copies throughout the series.
The story is set in the society where the special ability called “cliques” exist and depicts the protagonist Midoriya Izuku (A.K.A. Deku) fighting the opposing force “Villains” to become the “Hero” to fight with them, by spending time at the prestigious hero raising school called Yuei High School.

The special gifts for “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes: Rising” Blu-ray and DVDs, which Horikoshi himself directed and designed the characters, have been announced.
As the special gift for “Plus Ultra ver.”, “the original author Hirkoshi Kouhei-sensei Twitter Illustration Postcard Book”, which is the design Horikoshi revealed exclusively on his Twitter and recorded a total of 275,000 retweets and 1.475 million likes.

Information on “New Episode Picture Drama” and the large volume booklet, which are in the special gift in “Plus Ultra ver.”, have been revealed as well.
The title for the picture drama with the original scenario is “Epilogue Plus <<Make Your Dream Come True>>”. It is the after story which depicts the interaction of Deku and Bakugou with the original movie characters Mahoro and Katsumi sisters.
The casts, including Yamashita Daiki, Okamoto Nobuhiko, Terasaki Yuuka, and Kurosawa Tomoyo, participated in the new recording sessions, and the story progress with original anime visual.

Moreover in the large volume booklet, the interviews of the talk sessions by Horikoshi and the director Nagasaki, and other main casts and staff. It also contains rare original drawings for the movie.

“My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes: Rising-Plus Ultra Ver.” Blu-ray is priced for 7,800 JPY (tax excluded), and DVD is priced for 6,800 JPY (tax excluded). “Regular ver.” Blu-ray is priced for 4,800 JPY (tax excluded), and DVD is priced for 3,800 JPY (tax excluded). Each product will be on sale from Jul. 15, 2020.
