From May 2 to 5, “Air Comiket” had been held on Twitter as a replacement for the “Comic Market 98 (C98)” that was scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight. Many cosplayers posted photos and had fun.
The “Comic Market 98 (C98)” management side announced in March that the event will be canceled due to the spread of the COVID-19. However, while staying at home, a hashtag of “#air_comiket” became popular on Twitter, since it makes them feel like they are actually at the event.
