One of the largest cosplay events in Japan,. “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2019,” was held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on Oct. 26 and 27.
This event held in Ikebukuro East Exit Area reported a record high for both visitors and participants. It has been held since 2014, and is now expanding its scale that attracts more than 20,000 people from Japan and overseas every year.
You can take pictures until nighttime in Sunshine City and Higashi-Ikebukuro Chuo Park. Photos taking advantage of the locations were seen on Twitter on the days.
Since you can take pictures in different atmospheres in the day time and at night, some cosplayers prepared two costumes. We came to provide full coverage over these two days, and will deliver a grand photo report on the last day.
