The first key visual for “Jujutsu Kaisen”, which is scheduled to be broadcast on Oct. 2020, has arrived. Additionally, the comments from the main staff and Suwabe Junichi, who will be playing Ryoumen Sukuna, also arrived.

“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a manga by Akutami Gege, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It recorded more than 4.5 million copies being published.

The visual released this time depicts Itadori Yuuji standing in front of Ryoumen Sukuna's domain expansion called “Malevolent Shrine”, and Ryoumen Sukuna himself.
Also, the main staff including the director Park Sunghoo, Suwabe Junichi, who will be playing Ryoumen Sukuna, and the author of the original manga Akutami Gege.

I had been working in Korea back then, so I received an offer thorough Skype. I immediately read the original manga since I haven't, and I soon got very motivated because the story was so interesting.
My daughters are also the fans of the manga, and they recognized my work for the first time, although I am in the industry for 17 years.
I want to improve the breath of the characters into a higher level with the acting of the voice actors and live animations.
Please look forward to the Jujutsu Kaisen in anime.

Series Structure and Script Writing: Seko Kouji
I read the manga after I had received the offer, and I was immediately charmed by the interesting and cool story…it is like a Jump manga I had read when I was young. I am honored to be able to participate in the production of such wonderful work.
The points to see are the interaction between the characters and the fighting scenes. The characters from “Jujutsu Kaisen” have much more uniqueness than the ones in other works, and that uniqueness cause chemical reactions when they interact. Fighting scenes will be great as well, and I want to see it as soon as possible.

I think the anime production will not go in a way it supposed to be. I, Akutami, will work hard as much as I don't disturb them. By the way, I took a look at the drawing for episode 1. The otaku from the same generation will drool for sure. I look forward to completion!
