On May 12, 2020, the postponement of the broadcasting of the TV anime & live-action “My Roomie Is a Dino” has been announced. On the official website, the reason explanation behind the postponement saying, “Being affected by the Novel Coronavirus, parts of the production are experiencing difficulties.”
“My Roomie Is a Dino” is originally a manga with the same title serialized at the Kodansha's “Young Magazine”. It has started its airing from Apr. 2020, depicting the story of “Roomshare beyond the times” between Gyaru and dinosaur through 2 different parts consisting of anime and live-action film.
The official website explained how it has led to the decision stating, “About the TV anime & live-action 'My Roomie Is a Dino', although plenty of times were given for the preparation to proceed the production, being affected by the Novel Coronavirus, parts of the production are experiencing difficulties, we have inevitably decided to postpone the broadcasting.”
Along with this, the official website apologized saying, “We are extremely sorry for all of the fans who are waiting for our work, please understand our situation.”, and”Considering the safety of our staffs and casts, we are trying our best to produce the best work, so please continue to support us.”
TV anime & live-action “My Roomie Is a Dino” will continue to broadcast as scheduled until 25:00 on May 16 and will broadcast episodes 1 to 5 from May 23 and onwards.
The restart date of the broadcasting is yet to be announced and will be notified on the official website.
