The re-screening of the TV Anime “If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die”, which was broadcast from Jan. to Mar. 2020, is decided. All 12 episodes will be aired from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM on Apr. 25 at Nico Nico Live Broadcast.
“If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die” is originally a manga by Hirao Auri and is serialized in Tokuma Shoten's “COMIC Ryuu web”.
The protagonist Eripiyo is a passionate female otaku who devoted her life to Maina, a member of Okayama Prefecture underground minor idol group “ChamJam”. She was called as a “legend” due to her contributing all her salaries, thinking about her favorite idol for 24 hours, and shouting the name of her favorite idol until she lost her voice, and was acknowledged as a superior by others.
In this work, Eripiyo declared that “When Maina made it on the Budokan's stage… thenI don't mind if I die.” and depicts the activities of the idol otaku.
The re-screening of all 12 episodes of “If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die” will be aired from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM on Apr. 25 at Nico Nico Live Broadcast.
