The May 15, 2020 theatrical release of the original anime “Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru” has been postponed. The decision was made based on the announcements made by the Japanese government in response to the spread of the novel coronavirus in Japan.
The production committee posted the following explanation:
“After careful consideration, we’ve decided to postpone the release date following the announcement of the Japanese government regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus in Japan. We are dreadfully sorry for any inconvenience caused to those who were looking forwards to the movie, but we appreciate your understanding.”
The new release date will be announced through the official website and related social media as soon as it is decided. Some theaters will be suspending the sales of movie tickets until the release date is decided.
It should be noted that movie tickets published for the “2020/5/15 opening” will valid even after postponement. Do look forwards to the announcement of the new release date.
