The TV anime “Pokémon” aired on TV Tokyo channels from 6:00 pm every Sunday, has been decided to be streamed for free for a limited time. All the episodes aired are available on YouTube from Mar. 18.
Many children have to spend more time at home, due to the schools being closed by the government as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus. This streaming is aimed at those children, who have to stay home for the spring vacation, to have some fun even if it's just a little.
“Pokémon”, which anime started its broadcast in 1997 and is still popular, started its new series from Nov. 2019.
The story is set in the Galar region from the latest game series “Pokémon Sword & Shield,” along with all the other regions from the previous series such as Kanto from “Pokémon Red & Blue” and Jouto from “Pokémon Gold & Silver”.
Also, this series has a new protagonist Go (voiced by Yamashita Daiki) accompanying Ash (Matsumoto Rika) and his adventures with pokémon.
The free streaming will be available on the Pokémon official YouTube channel from Mar. 18 to Mar. 31, 2020.
