Tsugumomo will start broadcasting on TV on Apr. 5th 2020. Additionally, the season 2 key visual and promotional video has been released. Furthermore, it has been announced that Kaede Yuasa will be appearing in the role of Bakuraku, the pillow tsukumogami; and Sora Tokui will appear as Kyouka, the flute tsukumogami.

Tsugumomo, originally drawn by Yoshikazu Hamada and published in [Monthly Action], is a “Yokai Battle and Seductive Fantasy” style manga. Tsutsugomomo will be the second season of the anime.

One day, Kazuya Kagami, a ordinary boy suddenly comes across Kiriha, a beautiful girl wearing a kimono. Upon their first meeting, Kiriha tells him “It's been a long time”. It turns out her true form is actually the obi that Kazuya has been carrying around as a memento of his deceased mother.

The second key visual shows that this time around, Kazuya and Kiriha will be facing some mighty enemies. In addition, the promotional scene video promises some exciting battle scenes and fanservice scenarios, and new characters (like Akita) just waiting to be unveiled.

Additionally, character visuals and voice actors for the season 2 debut characters Bakuraku and Kyouka have been announced.
First, the dream guide, possessing the powers to enter the dreams of any sleeping individual. The pillow tsukumogami, Bakuraku, played by Yuasa Kaede.

Then there's the flute tsukumogami Kyouka, played by Sora Tokui, who possesses the power to create shock waves and influence the human body by playing the flute.

Starting Apr. 5th 2020, the anime will be broadcasted by Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, Chuukyou Television and AT-X.

My name is Kaede Yuasa and I'll be playing the role of Bakuraku.
When it comes to Tsugumomo, I really love the contrast between the casual fun scenes and the serious battle scenes, I'm looking forward to recording every scene along with reading the original!
I think Bakuraku is the perfect cute dream guide to help you all along, so I'll do my best so she can even appear and help you out even when you're troubled in your sleep!

[Kyouka: Sora Tokui]

I'm happy to be able to join the world of Tsugumomo! This is the anime's second season, and as such it's a work that's already beloved by many people, so I'm a little nervous, but also looking forward to it. I will try my hardest to bring out Kyouka's charm. First of all, I think there'll be some really cool battle scenes, so I want to show of Kyouka's strength! Thank you!
