It was determined that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu would act as the princess in the latest movie from the movie series of the anime “Crayon Shin-chan”, “Crayon Shin-chan: Clash! Graffitingdom and Nearly Four Heroes” (to be released in Apr. 24, 2020), where it takes place in the ‘Graffitingdom.”
By making use of this opportunity, she will officially start challenging in a voice acting in anime works.

Kyary has experienced from the opening theme of the 2012 TV series “Kimi ni 100%”, she has also acted in the main part as “herself”, and furthermore, her first movie theme song was assigned to the movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Intense Battle! Robo Dad Strikes Back” for the first time, so she has been active as part of “Crayon Shin-chan” family, being recognized both by herself and others.

Kyary also works as the character voice of Metchaka in NHK E Television’s “u & i” program, and the production offered her the princess role of Graffitingdom this time, surprised to know that the the voice actress was her.
She considers herself as a maniac of “Crayon Shin-chan” as she thoroughly read the original, and will officially continue to challenge voice acting in the future.

Kyary commented with enthusiasm about starting a voice acting work as she entered into the world of “Crayon Shin-chan”, “I acted by being myself in the role as “myself” in the TV anime series in the past, but this time, I want to enjoy a different aspect while challenging different voice variations that I don’t usually say.”

Furthermore, Shinosuke, whom Kyary talks about as “a saving hero for me that is a lovable being”, commented with excitement about teaming up with Kyary again, “Kyary-chan, I’m so glad to see you again! So, you will act as a princess who will entrusts the treasure “Miracle Crayon” to me, right? I will receive the baton of love from you for sure (heart)”

“The Movie Crayon Shin-chan: Clash! Graffitingdom and Nearly Four Heroes” will be released on Apr. 24, 2020 at Toho throughout Japan.
Also, it’s been determined that Kyary will not only be a voice actress, but also be a “Graffiti Support Ambassador” which is the theme of this work, “graffiti”, and her activities will be announced later.

Every time I got full marks on a test, Dad bought me one volume of original manga, which I had collected and read ever since elementary school. Shin-chan, who made me study which I wasn’t good at, is really a “saving hero” for me!

In addition, in this work, I am happy to hear as a fan of Shin-chan that it will be made into a movie based on the episodes in the manga and I think that everyone who likes Shin-chan will enjoy it!
