The anime “ULTRAMAN”, which is streaming worldwide exclusively on Netflix and will be broadcast on TV from Apr. 2020, will be filming an original short live-action promotion video.
As a measure to involve the fans in the creation, they are crowdfunding on “Makukake”, a website where you can buy new goods and services to support them.

The original short live-action promotion video will have a special appearance of Kimura Ryouhei (voice of Hayata Shinjirou/ULTRAMAN, the main character of “ULTRAMAN”) and Eguchi Takuya (voice of Moroboshi Dan/SEVEN). The two will be wearing the “ULTRAMAN SUIT” and “ULTRAMAN SUIT ver.7” (aka “SEVEN SUIT”), which were created by “LSS”, the modeling department of Tsuburaya Production.
The hybrid live-action image, which has gone out of the box of anime and tokusatsu, will give you a glimpse of the future of “ULTRAMAN” of the new era.

OLDCODEX will continue to be in charge of the new theme song for the television version “ULTRAMAN” anime. The song is titled “Core Fade”.
Regarding the new song, “We wrote this song with a theme of ‘beyond their fights’. The song is not the typical theme song and is filled with ambition just as the anime.” says Ta_2, and YORKE. says “It’s an honor to make the opening theme alongside the heroes. We scattered this feeling in the lyrics, so please enjoy them along with the music.”

“Core Fade” will also be played during the original short live-action promotion video. Let’s listen carefully to the track that gives cool color to the world of “ULTRAMAN”.

“Become a part of the live-action promotion video of the anime ‘ULTRAMAN’! Supporter Recruiting Project” will be held until Mar. 30, 2020, with a goal of 5 million yen. Check out the project page at “Makuake” for details of returns.

We will continue to be in charge of the theme song from the Netflix version. The last song was about “the reasons they fight”.
We wrote this new song with a theme of “beyond their fights”. The song is not the typical theme song and is filled with ambition just as the anime. I hope you will enjoy the song as well as the anime.
