TV anime “So I'm a Spider, So What?” is scheduled to be broadcast in 2020. In addition, a teaser visual has been released.
“So I'm a Spider, So What?” is originally a light novel series by Baba Okina published on Shousetsuka ni Narou, which has a total of over 1.7 million copies printed.
The protagonist “Kumoko” (voiced by Yuuki Aoi) is a female high school student who suddenly is reincarnated into a spider monster in a fantasy world. The story, set in a dungeon roamed by atrocious demons, depicts the survival adventure of a lowest-class girl with a great mentality who uses her knowledge and overly optimistic personality as weapons along with her spiderweb and traps against super high-ranked monsters.
The teaser visual shows a powerful image depicting the spider protagonist “Kumoko” using her web to escape from an atrocious monster much bigger than herself.
