Shueisha has established “Total Prize Money Up to 100 Million Yen 40 Manga Awards”! “Young Jump” and other youth comic magazines have brought all the power together

Each editorial department working on Shueisha’s youth comic magazines such as “Weekly Young Jump”, “Grand Jump”, “Ultra Jump” has established a manga award, “Total Prize Money Up to 100 Million Yen 40 Manga Awards”, with all efforts to meet new talents.
From Jan. 9, 2020, submissions are currently available by mail, bringing your works to the site or via the web form from the official special website.

The “Total Prize Money Up to 100 Million Yen 40 Manga Awards” are new manga awards in which a total of 40 themes are set, and the total prize money for each manga award is up to 100 million yen.
Winners will receive the right to publish on the website “Tonarino Young Jump” and the official app “Yanjan!” as well as a prize of 1 million yen for the grand prize winner.

Judges are the manga writers serialized in “Weekly Young Jump” such as Hara Yasuhisa known for “Kingdom” and Akasaka Aka known for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War”, and popular manga artists such as Suetsugu Yuki and Fukumoto Nobuyuki. Various famous people from various fields, including Yanagita Yuki, the professional baseball player from Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks and Noguchi Soichi, the astronaut, will be also attend.

Along with the event, various projects will be held to enliven the 40 manga awards with the special support of cooperating companies such as TENGA and the full cooperation of “Alu”, “a manga information service for manga fans.”

The deadline for posting the “Total Prize Money Up to 100 Million Yen 40 Manga Awards” is by May 31, 2020. Submissions of your works have been available by mail, bringing your works to the site or via the web form from the official special website.
