Touken Danshi from the musical “Touken Ranbu” will make their first appearance on the music television show from TV Asahi called “Music Station SUPER LIVE” on Dec. 27, 2019. Their formation is different from the musical, collaborating with Wagakki Band on the popular song, “Senbon Zakura”.

The musical “Touken Ranbu” is based on the video game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” , and the greatest swords in history turn into their human form, “Touken Danshi” and dance and sing.
It was announced that Touken Danshi from the musical will appear on the music television show, “Music Station”'s live broadcast scheduled to be over 11 hours called “Music Station SUPER LIVE”.
In this performance, the members are different from the musical, and they are Kasu Kiyomitsu, Oowanokami Yasusada, Izuminokami Sadakane, Hachisuka Kotetsu, Soneya Kotetsu, Tsurumaru Kuninaga. It is Tsurumaru Kuninaga's first appearance on TV and it is also the first time for these members to perform the musical “Touken Ranbu”.

During the show, “Touken Danshi” will collaborate with “Wagakki Band”, a new rock style entertainment band who has a style of combining Japanese musical instruments and rock music. They are scheduled to be playing “Senbon Zakura”. The collaboration of “Japanese rock music and Japanese musical” will cause unexpected reactions.

“Music Station SUPER LIVE” will be broadcast from Dec. 27, 12:00 to 11:10 pm on TV Asahi 24-hour channel.
