We've got news that the live action movie “The Promised Neverland” will be released on Dec. 18, 2020. The announcement was made during the “The Promised Neverland” stage in “Jump Festa 2020” that was held on Dec. 22 in Makuhari Messe, Chiba. We have received the comments from Hamabe Minami (playingas Ema), Jyo Kairi (playing as Ray), and Itagaki Rihito (playing as Norman).
“The Promised Neverland” is a “distinct” suspense escape manga that is currently serialized in “Weekly Shounen Jump” since Aug., 2016. The second season for the TV Anime has been decided to be aired from Oct., 2020.
The director for the movie is Hirakawa Yuichiro (known for the movie “Erased”). For the cast, Hamabe Minami will be acting as the innocentyet family loving protagonist Ema, Jyo Kairi will be acting as the cool and sharp Ray, and Itagaki Rihito will be acting as Norman, who always smile and remain calm during judgement.
During the “The Promised Neverland” stage within the “Jump Festa 2020” on Dec. 22, the voice actors/actress for the anime version: Morohoshi Sumire( voiced of Ema), Uchida Maaya (voiced of Norman), Ise Mariya (voiced of Ray), and Kaida Yuko (voiced of Isabella) together with Jyo and Itagaki made an appearance.
A behind-the-scene video that was revealed in “Jump Fest” and their love of “The Promised Neverland” ,and the making of the episodewere intorduced and they also have conducted a quiz challenge.
Jyo gave a comment with excitement, “I was happy that I was able to spend the time here!” while Itagaki commented, “I will do my best to make “The Promised Neverland” more interesting!” and show a happy face while getting excited on the “Jump Fest”'s Super Stage that both of them adored.
At the end of stage, the latest information which is the announcement on the release date, Dec. 18, 2020 from Jyo was greeted with applause.
