The second collaboration video of “Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion the Movie: Mirai Kara Kita Shinsoku no ALFA-X” (released on Dec. 27) and “Evangelion” will be shown exclusively during the movie screening on Dec. 27. Together with that, we have received comment from Sakura Ayane (as Hayasugi Hayato from “Shinkalion”) and Ogata Megumi (as Ikari Shinji from “Evangelion”) regarding the collaboration video.

“Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion” takes place in a world where Shinkansen is not only used as a mean of transport but also as the “Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion” that protects the peace and safety of Japan. It’s a story about the children that have high compatibility with the Shinkalion, who become the operators and face huge opponents.
Shinji Ikari along with Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA had even appeared in the TV series and is having a collaboration again with this movie.

The collaboration video that will be released in the movie is the sequel (The Second) of the released first collaboration video (available until the end of Dec.) that paid homage to the preview of “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0”.

Sakura Ayane (as Hayasugi Hayato) and Ogata Megumi (as Ikari Shinji) had recorded new lines together for this new video. During the recording, Ogata asked, “This is Shinji from “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0″ right?” as she seeked confirmation from the staff. It will be exciting for “Eva” fans to see what he said as “Evangelion”‘s Ikari Shinji rather than as the older brother figure to Hayato in “Shinkalion”.

“Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion the Movie: Mirai Kara Kita Shinsoku no ALFA-X” will be released nationwide on Dec. 27.

To think the dream collaboration has come true once again! Furthermore, another memory of a lifetime was created as I was able to do the recording together with the real Shinji-kun from Eva. It would make me happy if the children who come to watch Shinkalion at the cinema can find another favorite thing and that it can be something they look forward to seeing!

【Ikari Shinji voiced by Ogata Megumi】
Shinji from “Shinkalion” is like an awkward hero (laughs) but in the collaboration video, he is without a doubt the Shinji from “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0”. This is a chance for the Eva fans to meet their desired Shinji and the Shinkalion fans to meet the real Shinji! So, I did my best with that in mind (laughs). Please “confirm it with your own eyes”. Change! Shinkalion!!
