The Second Season for the TV Anime "Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" has been confirmed for Apr. 2020.
In conjunction, new scenes have been added to the First Season, and has been confirmed for airing from Jan. 1, 2020 as a re-edited 1 hour long program, "Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" Season 1 New Edit Version.
"Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" is a novel written by Nagatsuki Tappei and illustrated by Ootsuka Shinichirou.
The protagonist Natsuki Subaru, who on his way back from the convenience store, is suddenly summoned into another world. It paints the image of Subaru, who has gained "Return by Death", the ability to unwind time by dying, facing against a cruel fate in order to protect the people who are important to him.
The TV Anime "Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" First Season New Edit Version will begin airing on Jan. 1, 2020 on AT-X, TOKYO MX and BS11 among others. Additionally, "Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World" Second Season will begin airing Apr. 2020.
