TV anime "Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!" (The Eighth Son? That Can't Be Right!) starts its broadcast in Apr. 2020. Along with the release of the second key visual, additional cast (Mimura Yuuna as Louise, Komatsu Mikako as Iina, and M・A・O as Vilma) were announced.

"Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!" is originally a novel which has been published over 2million copies in total.
Ichinomiya Shingo (25) is an ordinary employee at a trading company. One morning, he wakes up to find himself inside Wendelin, the eighth child of a poor noble family that owns land in the middle of nowhere.
Shingo is in despair with not having the right to inherit the land nor any knowledge of administration. However, he finds himself with the rare talent of magic and works towards independence.

So far, the cast for the hero, Wendelin (Enoki Junya) and one of the heroines, Elise (Nishi Asuka) have been revealed and three more were announced on this occasion; Mimura Yuuna as the young-looking Louise who is a talented martial artist, Komatsu Mikako as the beautiful and slender Iina who is a lancer, and M・A・O as Vilma who is small but eats a lot and is strong.

The TV anime "Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!" is scheduled to be broadcast from Apr. 2020.

ーーWhat were your feelings of being cast in "Hachinan"?

I really couldn't believe it at first since I acted a bit more silly than I intended to at the studio audition. I honestly thought I would fail so when I heard I got the job, I was really happy!

ーーCould you tell us about your character?

Louise is an innocent and a strong-willed girl in many ways. Her words can sometimes be harsh…
I try my best not to make her too mean and perform as "honest" as I can.
She is basically cheerful and straight forward, I can't let her get twisted! haha

【Komatsu Mikako as Iina】

ーーWhat were your feelings of being cast in "Hachinan"?

When I heard the title "Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!", I thought it would be a story about the heroine getting together with all the good looking brothers. I thought I was going to be in a reverse harem! I read the original novel and now know that it is a very profound high fantasy. Centering on the protagonist climbing up from being the youngest child of a poor noble family, the characters are depicted carefully but comically. I was very excited about the after recording thinking, "How should I portray Iina?"

ーーCould you tell us about your character?

The characters surrounding Wendelin are all very unique. Iina is the earnest and mature one among them and she is always at the mercy of Elise and Louise getting out of control. I tried not to forget my common sense during the recording. Also, don't forget to check out the one-shot adlib scenes with Elise!

ーーWhat were your feelings of being cast in "Hachinan"?

I'm very happy I could join the crew as Vilma-chan!
The unique plot and the lives and relations of the noble-class were interesting and I was very excited about the recording.

ーーCould you tell us about your character?

Vilma-chan is usually the lazy type but she reacts to food very well. haha. I tried to express such gaps as much as I could. I also kept in mind during the recordings that I have my moments as a guard.
