The 24th movie for 『 Detective Conan 』 is 『 Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet 』 and it will be released on Apr. 17, 2020. The FBI agent, Akai Shuichi and the " Akai family " will make an appearance.
The FBI agent, Akai Shuichi, who is a key person in the original story, and his family "Akai family" will make an appearance in the world's biggest sports festival. Together with this announcement, a teaser visual drawn by Aoyama Gosho was also revealed.

The 23rd movie for 『 Detective Conan 』, 『 Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire 』 that was released in Apr, 2019 earned a total of 9.32 billion yen, which is the highest profit out of the entire movie series, and the 7th movie in a row that has broken the highest profit. The latest movie has gained attention from within Japan as well as overseas .

The two important keywords for the latest movie are the world's biggest sports festival 「 WSG-World・Sports・Game- 」 that is being held in Japan and the world's first 1,000km per hour invention 「 Superconducting Maglev Railway 」 which was created for the opening ceremony.
An unprecedented big incident in which famous tournament sponsors are kidnapped in Tokyo, which is scheduled to hold the "WSG" which is held once every four years. It even involved the 「 Superconducting Maglev Railway」 which is heading toward Tokyo from Nagoya.
This means that the 24th movie will have the largest scale case that has ever appeared in all the movies.

Moreover, the key person for the original story and last seen in the 20th movie 『 The Darkest Nightmare 』, FBI agent Akai Shuichi will make an appearance. Just like the 「 Scarlet 」 in the title implies, the " Akai family " will come together despite not all of the members making an appearance in the original story.

Together with the announcement this time, Aoyama Gosho has drawn a teaser visual that features the Akai family and Haneda Shukichi's lover, Miyamoto Yumi from the Metropolitan Police,making this her first appearance. The couple " Chuukichi and Yumi-tan " have yet to get married and received some attention about their love development

Movie 『 Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet 』 will be release on Apr. 17, 2020 in the nationwide Toho affiliated cinemas.
