"Summer Wars" 4DX version will be screened! Experience the “world of OZ”
The movie “Summer Wars” will be converted to 4DX and will be released nationwide from Jan. 17, 2020. At the same time, 4DX poster visuals and trailers of the avatars have also been released.
"Summer Wars" is the first original feature film by director Hosoda Mamoru of Studio Chizu. It has been 10 years since the release of the film in 2009 and to celebrate its 10th anniversary many events are held under the “UPDATE” project.
One summer day, high school student Koiso Kenji was invited by a senior, Natsuki, on a “job” to travel to her hometown together. However, the "job" was that he played the role of her fiancé in front of her family, the Jinnais. That night, when Kenji's mobile phone received an email that looked like a cipher, he needed to draw on all of his mathematical skills to find the answer. The next morning, both reality and the virtual world OZ had fallen into turmoil …
With "Summer Wars 4DX", you can experience the floating feeling of the "virtual world of OZ" and various battle scenes in the theater.You can expect the 4DX to give you new experiences of wonder and excitement using wind, water (mist), aroma, smoke effects, and movement in all directions in conjunction with the film.
