From the French live-action “City Hunter” film, “City Hunter: The Cupid’s Perfume” (in theaters from Nov. 29), comes a special trailer in the memorable “next episode preview” style recreated by Yamadera Kouichi and Sawashiro Miyuki.
This trailer is a tribute to the “next episode preview” which aired every week in the anime series “City Hunter”.
The “next episode preview” of “City Hunter” is famous for its relaxing music and comical banter between Ryo (voiced by Kamiya Akira )and Kaori (voiced by Ikura Kazue )which reminds you of a husband and wife comedy show. The voice actors of the deluxe dubbing, Yamadera Kouichi as Ryo and Sawashiro Miyuki as Kaori, perfectly recreate this memorable conversation.
The “next episode title” at the end hints at the tough spot Ryo and Kaori get into involving the “Cupid’s Perfume”. The BGM used during the next episode preview has also been recreated.
The hilarious conversation by Yamadera and Sawashiro is full of respect for the TV anime series and raises the expectations for the film soon coming to theaters.
“City Hunter: The Cupid’s Perfume” will be in theaters nationwide from Nov. 29, Friday, at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya and other theaters.
