“Sorcerous Stabber Orphen” main poster and main trailer are released! Additional cast members, Tsuda Kenjirou and Yoshino Hiroyuki, are also announced .

TV animation “Sorcerous Stabber Orphen” will be aired on Jan. 7, 2020, and the main poster and the trailer were released. Furthermore, additional cast members, Tsuda Kenjirou, Yoshino Hiroyuki, and Okamoto Nobuhiko, were announced.

“Sorcerous Stabber Orphen” is a dark fantasy first published in 1994, and multiple series had been published since, with a total circulation of over 14 million copies (E-books included). A completely new tv animation will be aired in 2020, having aired as TV animations in 1998, and 1999.

Krylancelo lived in the Tower of Fang, the best wizardry school of the continent. Krylancelo abandoned the past and works using the name Orphen in the city of Totokanta as a money lender to look for his sister Azalie, who became monster after an experiment. The journey to search Azalie is about to begin with new companions Claiomh and Orphen’s apprentice Majic.

The poster has Orphen with a sword which “changed everything” in the middle. Claiohm, Majic and other characters stand where the light shines. In the darkness is Azalie, and the characters who studied together at the Tower of Fang, such as Leticia, Hardia, Komikuron, and Forte. Additionally, Orphen’s former teacher, Childman looks somewhat sadly into the distance. The poster illustrates both the future and the past.

The trailer shows scenes such as when Azalea becomes a monster after an experiment, and Krylancelo decides to call himself Orphen. The action scenes during the journey to look for Azalea is speedy with main theme “Calling u” as background music.

Furthermore, there are 3 additional cast members.
Wall Kallen will be played by Tsuda, Orphen’s first teacher who led him to enroll in the Tower of Fang, Hydrant is played by Yoshino, and Swain is played by Okamoto.

TV animation “Sorcerous Stabber Orphen” will air from Jan. 7, 2020 on AT-X, BS Fuji. From Jan. 8, TOKYO MX, WOWOW will air the animation.
