The French live-action adaptation of “City Hunter”, “Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon” (“Nicky Larson and Cupid’s Perfume”, first run across Japan on Nov. 29 titled “City Hunter the Movie: The Most Fragrant Mission in History”) unveiled the newest stage shots.
The new materials show Ryo (or Nicky in the adaptation), Kaori (Laura), as well as the good old ex-mercenary Umibozu (Mammouth), Kaori’s brother Makimura (Tony), the beautiful inspector Saeko (Hélène)…
In the pictures, you can notice a vintage mini cooper, Ryo’s pocketless jacket. They are custom-ordered props, and show off the level of detail the main role actor and Director Philippe Lacheau obsesses on: “I was dead-set on breaking the limits of what we call realistic”.
Aside from that, there is a picture that shows off Lacheau’s newly-buff visage after eight months of dieting and training. In it, he’s effortlessly holding a large sniper rifle.
“City Hunter the Movie: The Most Fragrant Mission in History” will first run on Nov. 29 in Toho Cinemas Hibiya and across the country.
