One of the largest cosplay events in Japan “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2019” was held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on Oct. 26 and 27.
This event, which has been held for the sixth time since the beginning of 2014, reached an all-time record high for both visitors and participants. Halloween seems to be special for cosplayers, and many people showed off their cosplays with emphasis on costumes and craftsmanship.
In the cosplay area, the popularity of “Fate” series cosplays got concentrated on, represented by the popular smartphone app “Fate / Grand Order”, which is compatible with any season due to the abundance of costumes.
