One of Japan’s largest cosplay events “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2019” is being held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on October 26th and 27th.

The event is held at the time of Halloween, and over 20,000 cosplayers from Japan and overseas participate in the event held in Ikebukuro East Exit area in Tokyo each year.

In the opening ceremony, in addition to Enako, who serves as the ambassador for the event, 622 from China, Ki Yui from Korea, and popular cosplayers from Japan, China and South Korea will be on stage. This year, “Naka Ikebukuro Park” was newly added to the cosplay area. In addition to cosplaying and walking around the city, various activities such as a DJ event, Ike Haro DJ Party”, and a cosplay fans exchange event “Ike Halo Tea Party”, are available.
