The fleet battle of the 「Legend of the Galactic Heroes」 is reproduced using ' Around 60 thousands of Umaibou or Delicious Sticks' 【Video included】
To commemorate the screening of the first season of 『Legend of the Galactic Heroes The New Thesis: Stellar War』, 「The Battle of Astarte」 depicted in chapter one and two of the first season 「Kaigo」 is reproduced into video using the 'Original design Umaibou or Delicious Sticks'.
By having 1 Umaibou resembling 1 vessel of warship, Umaibou-formed Galactic Imperial Army together with Umaibou-formed Free Planet Alliance making up a total of 60 thousands( 60 thousands vessels) are used to bring a huge impact to the image of video.
The original work of 『Legend of the Galactic Heroes The New Thesis: Stellar War』 is a science fiction (SF) novel by Tanaka Yoshiki which has 10 volume of main story, 5 volume of side story of long novels sell recording a total of 15 million copies of sales since its volume one was published in 1982.
In April 2018, Production I.G has produced 『Legend of the Galactic Heroes The New Thesis』 as new animation . The second season which is the 『Stellar War』(12 chapters) will be released in 3 chapters in the theater.
The video of 「The Battle of Astarte of 『Legend of the Galactic Heroes The New Thesis』 reproduced through Umaibou」 has used 60 thousands of ' Original Design Umaibou or Delicious Sticks' to reenact it where the shooting takes place at the Bandaijima Multipurpose Square of Niigata City, taking 2 days and 50 staffs to produce it. It is an ingenious content that conveys a sense of hard work.
