Fischer's, a YouTuber group who were guest voice actors in the "One Piece Stampede" movie, released a video of their visit to the mangaka Eiichiro Oda's home. In the ten-minute video, Oda stated the shocking reveal that he'd like to end One Piece within the next five years.
One Piece Stampede was produced in honor of the anime's 20th anniversary and is the first One Piece movie in three years. A Pirates Expo, called "the world's biggest festival for pirates by pirates". The main event at the expo is a search for Roger (the Pirate King)'s treasure, launching a battle over the treasure that could affect the era's hegemony.
This new YouTube video of Fischer's visiting Oda's home is the second in the series, following a video covering their recording work in the movie.
In this video, Fischer's asks Oda about various questions that would only be asked by serious fans, like about the theory that there are two Shanks and the real parentage of Oven, Daifuku, and Katakuri.
In response to the answer, "how long will One Piece continue?" Oda said with a shocking, "I want to end it in the next five years."
The video has other content that fans won't want to miss, like information about the prize money for Douglas Bullet, the antagonist that makes Luffy and friends suffer, as well as the huge incidents that the Straw Hat Pirates and other related pirates get caught up in.
The movie "One Piece Stampede" is currently airing in theaters nationwide.
