It has been announced that the “Juju HONPO” Pop-Up Store for the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be held from May 1. Featuring a variety of newly illustrated merchandise of characters like Itadori, Gojo, and Geto, the event will kick off at Ikebukuro PARCO in Tokyo before touring various locations.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy manga serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” since March 2018, written and illustrated by Akutami Gege. It depicts the battles between sorcerers who exorcise curses born from negative human emotions using jujutsu. The series has surpassed 90 million copies in cumulative circulation.
The anime’s first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021, receiving significant attention not only domestically but also worldwide. Additionally, in December 2021, the prequel story to the first season, “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie,” was released, sparking a major global movement. The second season, which began in July 2023, delivered two continuous cours: “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” depicting the high school days of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, and “Shibuya Incident” continuing the timeline from the first season, both acclaimed for their overwhelming quality. The production of the third season, “The Culling Game,” has also been announced.
The newly announced “Juju HONPO” Pop-Up Store will sell items featuring newly illustrated visuals from “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death.” Items include “Acrylic Stands,” “Clear Files,” “Trading Can Badges,” “A3 Clear Posters,” “Trading Card Acrylic Stands,” “Square Stickers,” “Postcards,” “Trading Clear Bromides,” “Trading Acrylic Key Holders,” “Acrylic Blocks,” “Acrylic Panels,” and “Big Silhouette T-Shirts,” among others. Additionally, starting from May 11, “Trading Acrylic Magnets,” “Tote Bags,” and “Clear Multi Cases” will also be available for purchase.
During the event period, visitors will receive one photo-style card as a bonus for every 3,000 yen (including tax) spent on eligible products at the venue. There are four designs for “Jujutsu Kaisen” and three for “Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death,” and distribution designs change depending on the period, so fans may want to aim for a complete collection.
The “Juju HONPO” Pop-Up Store for the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be held at Ikebukuro PARCO in Tokyo from May 1 to May 19. From May 1 at 11:00 am, new product reservations and orders are scheduled to be available on the official online store “TOHO animation STORE” by TOHO animation, allowing fans from distant areas to also check out the offerings.
