In commemoration of the huge success of “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM”, “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series MUSIC PARTY on YouTube” is set to be held on the official Gundam YouTube channel “Gundam Channel” from 9:00 p.m. on February 17, where you will be able to watch music videos and live streams of the openings, endings, and soundtracks of the “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series” together with other fans.
The “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” series depicts the battle between the genetically altered super-humans called the “Coordinators” and those naturally born known as “Naturals” in the “C.E. (Cosmic Era)”. “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” , which takes place from C.E. 71, was broadcast from 2002 to 2003, while “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY”, which takes place from C.E. 73, was broadcast from 2004 to 2005. Since then, a variety of media has also been developed.
The movie “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM”, which depicts C.E. 75 in a completely new story, drew 1.63 million viewers and grossed 2.68 billion yen in 18 days since its release on January 26, 2024 to February 12, surpassing the 1982 release “Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space” (2.3 billion yen). By doing that, it has become the highest-grossing Gundam movie released in theaters.
The “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series MUSIC PARTY on YouTube” is a project that will allow viewers to watch videos of all 21 songs, including theme songs and soundtracks, from “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”, “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY”, and “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM” currently playing in theaters.

In addition, “Character & Mecha Stand (total of 3 random types)” will be distributed as the fourth attendance gift. The set of Kira & Rising Freedom, Shin & Immortal Justice, and Athrun & Z’Gok will be distributed in limited quantities from February 16 to 22. 4DX, MX4D, and Dolby Cinema screenings have also begun on February 9, so a second watching is recommended.
