The guidebook “10 Techniques to Become Better at Making Gunpla: ENTRY GRADE Strike Gundam Edition” was released on February 27, 2023.

“Mobile Suit Gundam” is a TV anime series that began broadcasting in 1979. It features realistic depictions of warfare in which robots , called “Mobile Suits,” are used as “weapons” and it also presents elaborate scientific research and intricately woven dramas. It established the genre of “real robot anime” that cannot be discussed in terms of simple good versus evil, which had been the trend in robot anime up to that time, and has been highly popular both domestically and internationally for more than 40 years.

“Gunpla” are plastic models of Mobile Suits and Mobile Armor that appear in the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, and since the 1/144 Gundam was created in 1980, approximately 400 million of them have been sold over the past 30 years.

The book “10 Techniques to Become Better at Making Gunpla: ENTRY GRADE Strike Gundam Edition” is a collection of techniques for making Gunpla. This book is an instruction manual for making Gunpla featuring the “Strike Gundam” from the “ENTRY GRADE” series of Gunpla that can be easily assembled by anyone without using tools.

Ten professional modelers active in Monthly Hobby Japan will explain in detail the production process utilizing molding colors, spray can painting, airbrush painting, and modification by combining kits, along with the tools and materials used.
