“SWORD ART ONLINE” began service on November 6, 2022! Celebrate the beginning day with newspaper ads!
To celebrate November 6, 2022, the start of the game service for the novel “SWORD ART ONLINE”, “Dengeki Bunko” will be holding several events. Newspaper advertisements and free readings of entire novels will be carried out to celebrate the one-day anniversary.
“SWORD ART ONLINE” is a novel written by Kawahara Reki and published by “Dengeki Bunko”. It is a story describing hero Kirito in the next generation VR game ‘SWORD ART ONLINE’; the official service start date of the game was November 6, 2022.
To commemorate “The First Day”, 30 advertisements were placed in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper. The ads were designed to create a folded book in which you can read a sample of the first part of the story, allowing you to enjoy the original novel series.
“Kimirano”, a recommendation site for light novels and new literature, will hold “The First Day Commemorative Stamp Rally” in which you can participate by reading “SWORD ART ONLINE”.
You can stamp and share your impressions according to the number of volumes you’ve read. If you share your impressions on Twitter, 10 people will be selected by lottery to win a signed book by Kawahara Reki .
In addition, free trial reading is available for a limited time until November 14, 1:00 pm. The range of the free reading is “SWORD ART ONLINE” volume 1 to 2,
and volume 8 “The Incident in the Circle” and “The First Day”, and “SWORD ART ONLINE Progressive” volume 1 to 5.
