“Ace of Diamond The MUSICAL,” a musical adaptation of the manga “Ace of Diamond,” will be performed from September 30 to October 10, 2022. Ryota Osaka, who plays Eijun Sawamura in the TV anime version, will appear on stage for an after-talk session at the performance on October 1 at 6 p.m.
“Ace of Diamond The MUSICAL” is a musical based on “Ace of Diamond,” a high school baseball manga by Yuji Terashima. The first part of the original work was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” from 2006 to 2015, and the second part “Ace of Diamond: act II” has been serialized since 2015. In addition, the TV anime “Ace of Diamond”, “Ace of Diamond: SECOND SEASON”, and “Ace of Diamond: act II” have been broadcast since 2013, and five stage versions of “‘Ace of Diamond The LIVE” have been produced since 2015.
The musical was originally scheduled for June 2020, but was canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. After two years, the production will finally be delivered with the script and songs upgraded.
Ryota Osaka, who plays Eijun Sawamura in the TV anime “Ace of Diamond,” will appear on stage for an after-talk session at the performance on October 1 at 6 p.m. Osaka will join the talk given by Yojiro Itokawa, who plays Eijun Sawamura in the musical, and Allen Kohatsu, who plays Kazuya Miyuki. The collaboration between the anime and the musical “Ace of Diamond” is a must-see.
“Ace of Diamond The MUSICAL” will take place from September 30 to October 10. The after-talk session joined by Osaka Ryota, the voice actor who plays Eijun Sawamura in the TV series, will be held on October 1 at 6 p.m.
